About Me
When I was about thirty-years-old, I moved from South Korea to California. At the time, I was a school teacher, but I had a dream to pursue a higher education, so once I was in the USA I obtained a Master’s and a Doctorate degree. After nearly forty years in California, I made a decision to start an education project in Cambodia. I had years of experience putting together schools from the ground up, so I put together a good team and started with one school initially in the capital city. Now here we are in Phnom Penh, over six years later, looking to expand our mission to include all of Cambodia.
During the last six years, and prior to the coronavirus, I have been flying back and forth between Cambodia, Korea and the USA many times. In support of our nonprofit Global Education Vision, I have a mission to build schools in the developing countries of the world, wherever they need a quality education. In pursuing our vision of building 300 schools here in Cambodia, I founded an international school called American Global Prep School here in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on October 3rd, 2016. Now we are working on all of these projects under the nonprofit Global Education & Environmental Vision, which is based in the USA. We now have three campuses here in Cambodia and we expect to open several other campuses this year, as well.
